Default Anyone tried the "Tornado"?

I keep seeing these infomercials for the "Tornado" which is supposed to increase HP and gas milage by forcing the intake air into a vortex patern. Sounded pretty bogus to me but they show a before and after on a dyno (some american SUV) with a 20 HP increase. They claim a minimum increase of 5 HP for any car. Is this thing for real?

Definitely a piece of dong. C&D dyno-tested a Tornado and it had zero gains in power, as well as no improvement in fuel economy in their long-term 540i.

I think a search on this site would yield some feedback/discussion also.

Wow, buy it and dyno your S. Put it on and dyno again. Then post the dyno graphs here for all to see.

Well, there is a 30-day money back guarantee so someone who has access to a dyno ought to buy it and give it a try. (It's like $70 plus $10 shipping)

Well, if it was only that simple then Honda would have put this into all their cars or designed it into the car's air intake to give it the extra edge in winning consumer purchase. What a rip off. This infomercial is not shown here in CA.

I'd give it a try buy I don't have access to a dyno and don't know much about the technical "under the hood" stuff.
