Anyone upgraded your brakes ?
We were thinking of upgrading our brakes - Drilled/slotted rotors, same size or larger, and new calipers.
Anyone have any pointers on what to do or not to do, and what and where to get them?
We are thinking Brembo, is that a good choice or is there something better?
Bottom line, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

I got a used set of wilwoods i bought from a board member. I like them. add alotta looks, but really dont help in braking at all. They have a 4 pot and 6 pot, but the 6 pot needs specific offsets/spacers to clear certain rims. Cant go wrong with brembo though. PM ap1bydesign. he's selling his brembos. If you want new, it seem everyone recommends sherwin (docofmind). Good luck!

I've only read great things about the Spoon calipers.
I plan on swapping to Endless SS-S pads (same as on my Evo) when the stockers are toast...

PM Sherwin (aka docofmind). He'll work with you and recommend the kit that fits with what you're looking for. NO braking system will stop better on the street than the stock system (if you can brake hard enough to engage ABS the calipers aren't the weak link.) If you want more consistent braking on the track, a good bleed and ducting is what you need. If eyeball popping stops is what you're looking for, upgrade your tires to R compound.
There are some serious benefits to aftermarket calipers, though. I went with the 4 pot Wilwoods because they're 30 lbs lighter than stock, pad changes take seconds (seriously) and pads for the Wilwood Dynalite are available in just about every kind of compound you can imagine (and they're cheap). I can score 3 to 4 sets of pads for the price of 1 set for Brembo calipers.
