Can the S2000 ever handle 87 octane? Or would it be like trying to use diesel?

Only the best petrol goes in this tank...! High compression engines need high octane. Feed her supreme...(when you finally get her!)

Yes in an emergency. You should never use it unless you absolutely have to.

Damn, that's funny. Personally, I like to put in I.H.O.P. Boysenberry syrup.

Ironically, I've heard good stuff about syrup in 2-liter engines. Actually when I was looking at an Audi TT the dealer said Audi recommends an occasional 87 octane fill up. I think it has something to do with the turbo. Though I can't understand how that'd be of any benefit. Honestly I'm very spoiled because I've been using only 87 octane in my Lexus ES300 for years--based on my dealers recommendation. SO to jump to premium (though mandatory on an S2000) is a bit of a price-shock.

"I see your from Chicago! Will you drive you S2000 in inclement weather? Do you think it could survive the Windy city in January? Even with a set of snow tires?"
