Whats the biggest thing you missed from moving to the s2k? In about a week I will be moving from a 4dr focus hatch and boy am I gonna miss the trunk and back seat. 90% of the time they are empty, but I am usually the go to for trips with friends and carpooling. It does help having a wooden trunk so I am already picky with what I put in there but I think the lack of room is gonna be a shocker.

Your points are only one of many reasons why my S2000 could never be a daily driver for me. I love the car, but dread the thought of ever having to DD it!

I miss the low end torque this car lacks. Even supercharged with more than double the power it's still super low on torque.

I used to daily drive it too. I definitely don't miss that haha.

You learn to adjust. I have high hopes to soon be moving from a Toyota MR2 which has been my daily driver (good weather only) since 1999. I moved from an 87 Toyota pick-up, so another 2-seater but with lots of hauling space. I don't think it will be much of an adjustment though leaving the MR2. When the weather is bad, or we need the room, we have a RAV4 and my "beater" is a '95 Pontiac Sunfire.

Trunk size keeps the Costco bills down. Actually there is plenty of room for 2 on multi week trips.

I couldn't daily drive the S2k. I have to have a DD to go with it.

Loved my '12 Focus hatch. Miss it sometimes.

Nothing really...

That's what our utility vehicle is for. Even then we're rarely driving people or stuff around. It sees more use in weather too hot or cold for top down and in the rain. The S2000 worked great as a DD for me for years but it's a YMMV thing.

We've taken a number of 2 week roadtrips in the S. Granted, we have to do laundry once or twice but there has been plenty of space for us. Again, YMMV.

I'm good with the torque on my car. I have 163 wtq at 4000 rpm NA. Feels like a v6 almost.

I daily drove my s2000 for maybe 2 months total out of my entire 5 years of owning it, when I did, I missed having a nice quiet ride somewhere.

I'm not sure what you would call an acceptable amount of torque if you think a SC F20 in an ~2800 lbs car is low on torque.
