Default Anything to worry about underneath?

When I looked at this car underneath I couldn’t see any rust, but looking at other car pics online, the underside doesn’t look the right colour (could be old under seal)

I think the brown bits are old under seal, but just wanting a second opinion.

Thanks in advance.

Its just the stock undercoating. It's tan for some reason. Not sure if that's an 06+ thing (this looks to be an 06+ car).

This car's been lightly used in winter or stored improperly.

Surface rust on all the suspension and driveshaft. Bolt heads are rusty also.

The frame rails seem to have been sprayed internally with some sort of oil (fluid film or something).

If you're looking for a totally clean example, this isn't it. But it doesn't look totally shitted out or anything. Its just not like...a very well kept one. Not sure what the price or details are.

Thanks for the reply. It’s a ‘99 car and one that I thought looked in good condition for the age.

It’s done 48k miles and £12k. It has been maintained by previous owners with little records.

Go for it, bruv

The UK prices don't seem to have risen yet. You lot are still obsessed with the terrible alternatives

You could probably clean most of that to have a better look. It really just looks like dirt/mud caked on. You could use something like POR-15 to paint over the areas that look rusted.

Maybe just my phone small screen, but agree, doesn't look like rust to me.
