Default Anyway I can complain?

About my local Honda Dealer?

they been acting like dicks about selling me parts for my S2K...

when they have to ''Special order'' a part they want like $40 on top of the regular price for shipping & handling...

today I went for a thermostat and the O-Ring from there... total was $27.97...

THEY HAVE THE PART THERE THEY GAVE ME THE PART AND ALL and when im going to pay he says $38.XX...

I asked him why and comes with the bullshit of shipping and handling fee.. I told him why? If you have the part here and isn't gonna be shipped or anything... he just told me... ''that's how they make the money, if you don't want it order it online''

I got his name and store number...

any place I can call to fill a claim or do something?

not the best way to threat people who are paying for they stuff

There is your answer. Complain with your $$ (and maybe a bad Google review).

Why are you buying parts from the stealership? Plenty of online places to buy - including better Honda dealerships that will ship parts to you cheap.

Well... it's also worth noting that the dealership will NOT install parts you bring to them. If you want their labor, you have to buy parts from them. Many other reputable shops are the same way.

majestic honda has always come thru for me. Time and Time again. I have found the best prices online here.

Try your local BBB. Worth complaining about. Maybe if enough people do it, they will change their ways! Good luck!

Your story reminds me of Braman Honda in FL who wanted $80 bucks for the front brake pads. That is almost 100% markup when you can find it for around $40 at other dealerships.

Sometimes I use them because I get them the next day. This dealer down the road from me only charges me the outrageous dealership price.. but no other outrageous fees. I consider a tax if I need the part like right now. Usually are pretty cool with me. Dunno if its a good thing that know me by name and vehicle+year make basis LOL I try telling them its just maintenance stuff but blah!

If you're ordering something small/cheap/trivial which makes shipping cost prohibitive, you can order through estore.honda.com and pay list online, and then pick it up at the stealership. At least that way they can't gouge you.
