Default AP1 and AP2 clutch difference?

I just got a NFR 2001 and noticed the clutch is pretty heavy compared to a 07 S that I drove. Is it documented that there's a clutch difference between chassis?

Mine is fairly heavy too compared to other S2K's but from my experience every S feels different.

I've owned an 02, 05 and 06. Never noticed a major difference in the clutches.

Age. Flush the clutch fluid and you should feel the pedal behaving like the MY07 you drove.

I'd say this is the most likely culprit...

Bled the clutch and changed the fluid made my MY2003 feel amazing.

Went from a heavy chore to a light feather.
