Default Are ap1 and ap2 exhaust the same?

I saw this 04 s2k with a invidia exhaust at a dealership near my house. I want to go ask the dealer if they want to trade with my stock exhaust since they can sell a car faster stock. I have a ap1. my question is, if we swap exhausts, will it work? can ap2 exhausts fit on ap1 and vice versa? thanx.

yeah i don't think that will work and to answer your question, no i do not think they are the same, the ap2's exhaust is oval like while the ap1's exhaust is just circular

The oval vs circular are just tips. The exhaust will fit but the dealer will want to charge you.

No way will they just swap you, especially since it'll take their labor ($$$) to do the swap (and they wont trust you to do it).

i know they would charge me. I mean, ill give up to a 100 bucks. That would still be a good deal. But dealerships can always sell their cars faster when they are stock so i think i might be able to pull something. we'll see.

Exhausts aren't a major mod so its not a big deal on re sale value unless maybe it was crap and sounded very bad...............

That's a good idea. It's worth asking..
but my guess is the dealers are gonna want something out of you.
