Default AP1 and AP2 Front Light Clusters

My AP1 front light clusters are fogging slightly and are a bit scratched and generally dont look as good as I would like them. I have tried using Plastx on them but I really need to remove them from the car and use a proper buffer on them but that is alot of risky work and I have only had my car 2 weeks.

Where can I buy replacement parts and for how much? Do AP2 lights fit in their place? Does anyone have a side by side comparison?

Thanks

You're talking about the headlights, I take it? There are a lot of discussions on this, have you tried searching, specifically for ap1 to ap2 conversion? Also check some old threads in the Wash and Wax forum.

AP2 headlights come up on the "for sale" forum from time to time but expect to pay a good bit.

Looks like a lot of work and I like the AP1 look. Think i'm just going to get some brand new AP1 lights - where is the best place to get them? Honda? Price?

Bake em, clean em up and reseal. Will look good as new. It will be much much cheaper.

Agreed^ You should wetsand your headlights before putting all the money (500 bucks?) into getting new ones. I did that on my lights and now they are like new. MAKE SURE TO TAPE EVERYTHING aroudn the headlight unit. I accidently kicked my paint a few times with the sand paper and now i have light scratches
