hey guys, I have read a number of threads about doing ap2 top(roof skin) conversion

on ap1 roof. I also read that frames of ap 1 and ap 2 are indentical but the way it

mounts on ap1 and ap2 is slightly different. so If you were to install a whole ap2

top(frame with skin on it) on ap1, would it be bolt on without having to make any

adjustments?

I'm asking this as one of the local convertible specialist said they are different and also

a mechanic at other workshop said he's tried it before but where it meets top of

windscreen is different so they are different fitment/design...

can anyone confirm this as I'm planning to fit ap2 frame and top onto ap1?
