Does anyone know for sure if the center section of the AP1 door panels are interchangeable between the early AP1 and late AP1 panels?

We have a MY00 S2k and we want to replace the door panel colored "inserts" with a different color. We found a set but they are from a MY03 S2000. Does anyone know if this works?

 

yes they are. I bouhg a set of 2003 panels and took them apaert and used the top section of the panel for the tweeter attached to the bottoms of my 2001 panels since I had tweeters in those. they will work with no issues.
