Ap1 Lip - Ap2 Lip

Default Ap1 Lip - Ap2 Lip

I've ordered my lip last week (from temencula Cali) and i couldn't be more excited when i got my package today, to my surprise the lip came in Sebring (that was a concern about getting wrong silver) BUT for the Ap2 model, it looks great but doesn't seem to be compatible ... now, i need to wait at least 3 weeks between resending/reordering but my question is:
Is there any way that i can install the Ap2 lip on a Ap1 front Bumper?

I don't know of anyone who has tried, my guess would be no.

Thanks .. i guess i'm screwed ... and btw, the guy on the phone (honda dealer) was 100% sure that all lips are the same for all years, i had to send him a Jpeg with the 2 bumpers etc etc ,, amazing ,,,

I've never heard so much misinformation spread around about a single car in my life. It seems most Honda dealers don't know the first thing about this car.
