Ap1 seats vs ap2 seats
AP2 V2 and V3 seats are different. The V2 seats are not taller than the roll hoops. I find mine fairly comfortable. Not like lazyboy comfortable, but a 2 week road trip in the s2k was fine.
Whoever made the comment about your height and weight being a problem is stupid BTW.

I put Clazio leather seat covers on my ap1 seats. I did it for cosmetic reasons, but they have made the seats much softer in feel with extra padding material. They feel great, might not do much in terms of lumbar support but they feel much better in all respects over the oem seat setup. Give the seats a bit of luxury feel to them, soft padded leather feel. They kinda fill in the height difference between areas of the seat so the seat doesn't feel as sunken.

That is a bold statement. Care to back it up or show any proof whatsoever?

The main reason why I went with an '07 and not an '08(looks a little out of the ordinary for the seats to stick out further than the roll hoops)...
Maybe it's just me!!!

Now I'm saying you're stupid, because 190lbs is pretty damned reasonable for someone who is 6'4. It puts his BMI around 23 which within the range of normal. If you look at height and weight charts, he would be above the 95th percentile in height but about 70th percentile in weight, meaning he's not proportionately overweight at all.
Thanks for the info guys. From what I understand both the ap2 v1 and v2 seats aren’t much of an improvement comfort wise. I did move my seat all the way back and made the seat back almost perfectly vertical and although it is different than how i would normally sit in a car it seems to have helped.
@jjcp what do you mean? The only time i ever get pain in my back is when I am in the S for 3 plus hours. I think I am pretty fit/ healthy...

1. I did not said his problem IS caused by his hight and weight. I said it might be caused by something else.
2. For a 6'4" person to be overweight (GTS Jeff), said person has to be what?, maybe over 250? 260? So, how the heck you read overweight from my post is beeeeyyyyoooooooooonnnnnnnndddd my stupidity.
3. shwinkwhite - At 6'4" and 190 you are probably very slim and you say pretty fit/healthy. To me, IMHO, that means that you have really long, slim limbs and core. It seems that in an S2000, a car having a steering wheel that is not adjustable, your shoulders might not alligned with the steering wheel. That might force you to not be able to rest your arms on it appropriately(sp?) resulting in additional upper body / back effort to maintain your position.
Does that makes sense?
