AP2 bumper on AP1?

AP2 is a nice bumper, I wouldnt mind finding one. I am not a huge fan of the plastic pieces in the corners. Is hardtopguy able to order AP2 bumpers? BTW civictos2000 that garage pick looks good.

The part I like about the AP2 bumper is the cut outs on the side which mirror the door sill, great integration of the design. As such, I think the OEM lip ruins this detail.

The AP2 looks incredibly aggressive with the front lip. Without the lip however, very subtle change. I do see what you are saying Dr. WOT about the design

that second pic is not mine BTW... I'm getting my AP2 painted as we speak tho...

Side strakes bring that "even" look back when it has a lip though.

I think they look more different in person than in photos. It's hard to see the differences in shape in photos. Most shots are from the front and the shape difference is hard to see.

One thing you have to be concerned about are dimples in the bumper near the lights. If you dont shave off some of the support beam, they will pop up. Its happend to a few people including me. Check some of the other sections. They have DIY threads that show you how much to shave off. You'll need an angle grinder for sure. Anything less is painfully time consuming.
