AP2 Diecast Model
Hey everyone,
I remember doing a search for diecast models before on S2Ki and the consensus seemed to be that no AP2 diecast models could be found. Apologies if this has been covered in the forum already, but I was looking around and I found these two that are currently back ordered in Japan:
Stock AP2:
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D1
Mugen AP2:
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D1
Despite the first one saying "AP1" it's clearly an AP2. 7,500 JPY is about $65 USD for those of you who might be interested in ordering. I think I'll be getting the Sebring Silver one!

Yeah. I have never seen those 2. The only ones I have seen for ap2 have been the transformers they made in the binaltech series. There is a few different versions and they make both plastic (us releases) and diecast (Japan releases).

It's an AP1, post MMC or "minor model change". They didn't get AP2 until 2006 in Japan from what I understand and it is the displacement of the engine that determines whether it is an AP1 or AP2. For all of us here in North America, it's an AP2.
I picked up a white one off an Ebay seller a while ago along with an NSX and DC2R. They are really nice models and look much better and realistic than the Ebbro offerings.

I picked up a Wit's S2000 from AmiAmi a while back. It's a Type S, which is the closest thing I've found to a model CR thus far. Not diecast though, but it does look nice on my desk:
It was 8930 Yen, shipping was 1350 of that.
EDIT: It's this one: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...TOY-SCL2-28201
