Hey, i just bought a HKS Hi Power Exhaust for MY06. A friend of mine wants my stock exhaust. Can MY06 exhaust fit onto his MY01???? Please answer only if you know for sure.

I thhink that the ap2 exhaust is a little wider at the tips, like around 1/2 inch. The bends should be same. You may have to trim out the bumper a little to get it to fit. The only way to know for sure is to try. Make sure you post your results.

 

well I was actually looking online for some filters and came to 2006 exhaust tips and it says Not recomended for earlier years due to clearence issues

 

I'd be surprised if it didn't fit because my 4" Invidia tips fit fine with about an inch of clearance all around.

 

The 04-06 exhaust will fit with no clearence issues. Only thing is the tips are bigger and do stick out from under the bumper quite a bit, but not too much. It actually looks nicer than the stock exhaust for the AP1.

 

you guys know the ap2 exhaust changed from 05-06 right? the piping is different. i dont know if it will fit or not, but just so you know, not all AP2 exhausts are the same.
