Meh. My S2000 is my primary (and only) car. It's really a matter of personal preference. Drive them both and decide.

No doubt the MS3 is an awesome car, but I don't see the comparison here for two completely different cars.

Absolutely the s2000. But I'm sure you figured you would hear that on an s2000 forum. For a second car especially. No need for extra seats when it is a fun weekend car. Drop top is always a nice feature as well. And coming from a high horsepower fwd(gst) torque steer sucks. Sure it will be better in the winter, but since it's a 2nd car that shouldn't matter. Style wise imo s2000 wins hands down. Not really a fair comparison I don't think especially since it's not a DD.

it never fails to amaze me when people cross-shop FWD with RWD cars

WTF? "Should I get an S2k or a MS3?"

That's like waking up in the morning and wondering "Hmmm, should I have oatmeal for breakfast or jump off a bridge?"

Station wagon............................................. ........roadster. Bit of a crowbar separation there. (Eddy Izzard fans out there?) And yes, I'll call every car like it a station wagon. 4 door car, cabin and cargo area in the same compartment.....yep, station wagon. Just like that hideous new STi. However I actually prefer the wagon variant of the Mazda 3 over the sedan.

My sister has a 2.3 Mazda 3 sedan, and it's a nice car. I bet with a stick and turbo it should be a fun drive. Sure as hell ain't a schtook though

Geeez seriously?

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the mazda, just surprised that the two are being compared as possibilities for the same purpose.

Tell me how a MS3 is more high maintenance than an S2k.
