Hello Everyone.
I was thinking I used to have a 2005 Honda S2000,I remember my Ignition key was so cool had an S2000 LOGO on it.
Now I have A 2003 2000 .

Ive found one n ebay for $100. will this be programmed with an AP1 ?
Will this work with my S2000 2003 right now ?

 

from what i remember the ap1 use the traditional key with the edges cut for the pins, the ap2 key needs to be milled out and is a completely different type of key.

 

2006 "AP2" key. How's this match your current key cut pattern?

The AP2 key is cut differently than the AP1 which is more of a standard ignition key from that era. So at minimum I think you would need the ignition switch/barrel from the AP1. Not sure if the AP2 keys can be programmed for an AP1 or not. Depends on if they changed the immobilizer setup between the two
