Ap2 Review
So.. the local honda dealership was offering to buy back my 03' s2000.. so i decided to investigate a little further and they offered a trade to a new 05 s2000.. and they managed to make a deal with me to swap cars.. however.. after driving the 05 s2000.. it became clear that the car was a big dissapointment.. .( WATERED DOWN SPORTS CAR!! ) The clutch, shifter, suspension.. was all loose and geared towards comfortablity.. or other words.. more for the everday driver.. did not really feel like a sports car.. moreso like a convertible civic.. or something of that sort.. the increased displacement was not even noticable... if not a little slower.. but thats just my 10 cents..
Bruceleeroy, my friend, you just opened a can of worms.
Christmas Eve is not a good time to start,a battle beetween AP-1,ans AP-2 owners.
In this day,I'd rather wish,to all my fellows "S 2000" lovers,a very MERRY CHRISTMAS,and enjoy your sports cars for what they are.!!!

Hi Bruceleeroy,
I am the very happy owner of a MY05 with the F20C2 engine, so with the 9K redline. I first drove a MY02/03 for a while to check it out, so I think I can compare as well as you can.
To me, both cars are equal, but the revised F20C2 engine having more torque in the GTi (=low) revs. Every other thing seemed and felled the same to me. Perhaps they forgot to take the spacers out or the tires were not inflated as they should or something else because they really wanted you to swap!?
Or does the USA/CAN MY05 F22 have different setups than our European MY05 F20C?
Merry Christmas to everyone out here and enjoy your S'ses, no matter what year, AP version, redline or colour
SieYa,
Frank.

I have owned an 00, an 01 and an 04...While I can tell the differnece between an AP1 and an AP2...you must be out of your mind to think the differences are "astronomica" as you make them seem.
True sports car? What other cars have you owned, I am kind of curious..?
