I've never driven an AP1, but from what I understand the most notable differences are the redline, the suspension, and the displacement. Some people think they are going faster in the AP1 because of the extra 1k rpm's. I've read some claims that the AP2 is slightly faster stock...slightly. Maybe true, maybe not, but either way the AP2 is all sports car.

I've put a K&N intake and Eibach springs on mine, and it is gruntier and the suspension is better. Most everyone makes these type mods whether they have AP1 or AP2, so I doubt you would feel that way if you lived with the car.

The civic comment was just asinine!

You made the right decision, so I'm sure you are off to the Infiniti dealership then?

Yeah I'm just saying the measurement is different but they're both measurements of distance.

The new SAE horsepower rating is a different way of measuring horsepower than the old horsepower rating.

So to make it more clear for you ... It'd be like saying I drove 1.609344 kilometers and you saying you drove 1 mile. Does it mean that I drove further than you did? No, just a different way of measuring it.

237 of the new SAE rated HP = 240 of the old hp rating.

Happy now?

"I dunno, I think My '05 is faster than my '06. That 3HP that the SAE took away from me really sucks! I want it back! You hear me!"
Pretty soon AP2 drivers will faction off to form the AP2 vs. AP2 DBW threads. If the AP2 S2000's are convertible Civics, then my Civic is a Closed roof S2000. Eureka! Talk about getting one's money worth.

During this festive season, I am going to grant you the following gift:

I hereby re-rate your car's HP in terms of SME. You now have 856.9 HP as per the standards agreed upon at the last "Society of Martian Engineers".
Merry Christmas. Go in Peace.

Seems any Troll can catch a bunch of fish if they use the right bait.
