if you're thinking of changing tips for aesthetic reasons.. i would say your stock ones would look better.. unless you're gonna change your bumper too.. if not.. stay stock...
The only thing to be aware of, if you track your car, you could run into bumper melt issuses. I have the stainless steel Spugen with oval tips and I have had to enlarge the openings in the bumper outlet after I melted one side a bit.
The Supersprint and Spugen ovals are made to fit the AP1 rear nicely. However if you just straight swap AP2 tips onto your stock AP1 exhaust, they appear to hang too low. (It is bolt on btw, no cutting or welding required)

Sorry to bump this from the dead but better than starting a new thread. I'd like to know if AP2 tips fit properly on an AP1 exhaust through an AP2 bumper? I'm going to upgrade my rear ap1 bumper to ap2 and was looking at doing the exhaust to complete the look but if replacing tips will work, I'll just do that instead.
