Default AP2 wheels - gauging popularity

I haven't had an S2000 in a LOOOOOOOOOONG time (working on that) so I have not been keeping up with what AP1 vs AP2 V1,2,3...etc...are bringing. I remember a while back if you could pick up a set of AP2s for 600 or so, that was a heck of a deal...but not sure anymore.

The reason why I am asking is because this PM I am going to go and pick up a set of AP2s. They are in BAD shape...meaning scratches, chips, etc, etc...I have time this weekend, so I am going to refinish them and put them up for sale.

The tires are almost gone...probably 40% tread up front and 20% on the back...and they are incorrect sizes (235/45/17s and 245/45/17s)...

I will most likely paint them flat black or black and polish the edge...they won't be perfect but considerably better than what they are looking now.

Can they fetch $ 500 to $ 600 still? I know a lot of it would have to do with how they look, but, they would at least make good track buddies...

If they are powder coated maybe $500 but usually for not too much more you can get them with decent oem tires on them which saves lots of money compared to buying new tires all around.
I'll let someone else chime in on the pricing more as I am not sure.
Also depends on what model AP2 wheels they are.

~$400-$500 is the going rate for AP2 wheels in good condition.
