Default Apartment burned down, S2000 survived.

there was a big fire in san francisco a couple of weeks ago that burned my apartment building.

my apartment and everything i owned was destroyed but the S2000 survived! it's normally parked in a garage in the building but i was out running errands with it when the fire started. i came home to find my apartment surrounded by fire trucks and huge flames coming off the roof. literally the only things i had left were my phone, wallet, car, and clothes on my back. the last few weeks have been very rough for me and i'm not sure what i'm doing next. but if there is a bright side i still have my S2000 which makes me happy every time i drive it.

Sorry to hear that. At least you or your S weren't harmed. You'll get through it. Going to be tough but you will. And whenever you get down just go for a ride!! I know it clears my mind...

Man, that's good place to start. Having a car, ID, and a couch to crash on. You're doing better than 80 percent of the world. Real talk.
Life is good.

sure, it definitely could have been worse. unfortunately, i didn't have renter's insurance so i'm basically starting from scratch. but things like all the artwork i've done and film i've shot can't be replaced anyway. highly considering just traveling for a while and having some adventure. i have a track day coming up on the 23rd... might just keep driving after that and see where i end up!

^^^ I like it. If you can afford it, go for it. You could use a vacation right about now

Wow that sucks. But you do have your life. Take the time to do something you have always wanted to do. Good luck!

things will get better, stay on the positive side! if you do decide to see where the S will take you, you should document and post it!
