I was looking all over the web, including Apexi's website, but I couldn't see a specific application for the S2000. I think Fito's installed it on his, but I don't know if there's a "special" V-AFC for the S2K.

Also, if you have the V-AFC, have you tried lowering the VTEC engagement RPM? I remember long long ago somebody said that 5500RPM is the best you can do, anything lower would feel terrible.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Pinky?

I helped Fito install his V-AFC. With the unit came an additional instruction for the S2K. All V-AFCs are the same.

Try droping him a note at fito@teleprocaribe.com

Mingter, My V-AFC came with Install diagram for the S2000 ( in Japanese) I had a friend traduce it to me. Pepe and I installed it like in 2Hr. The service manual helped big time. I haven't taken my car to the dyno to set it, but putting the Vtec lower than 5500 doesn't work, the car stalls at 5500 and then pulls again. I have it set now at 5700 and work perfect.

Do you still have those instructions? My Japanese's gotten poor lately due to the lack of use, but I think I can hack it. If not, I'll take it to little Tokyo and have a buddy translate it.

Also, is $310 shipped a good price for V-AFC?

Thanks Fito!
