Apex'i N1 Single or J's Racing N1 Single??
I had an apexi n1 on my old gsr and absolutely loved it. It was loud on the outside, but only when you wanted it to. The loudness was easily controllable with the use of the throttle. At some throttle positions, the car would sound stock. But when you really wanna get on it, prepare for war
. The piping isn't SS but i never had a problem with it rusting or something. Not that rust is really a problem in SoCal anyway...
I would get the apexi n1 over the j's racing exhaust because i like the way it looks and its substantially cheaper. The gains one exhaust would get over the other are insignificant.

I'v just sold my Apexi N1 single, actuly just pending.
it's pretty loud without silencer, but sounds great after 5000rpm.
I'v weigh out that the Apexi N1 weight about 14 pounds w/o gasket and bolts, the stock exhaust has about 50 pounds, save about 35 pounds, for me that's not bad.
