A-arm bushing shot at 125k mi - replace them all ?

In my experience, bushings gradually get worse over time and use. That's about it.
With the other money you've invested, and one already failing in a noticeable way, I'd get them all replaced - I bet you'll notice the difference.

First off, you cant beat OEM quality for suspension components, both for fit and finish and rubber quality. If you cant afford to do it properly, wait. dont cheap out especially on a precise tool like the S. Chances are with that mileage the other components will have some sort of play and/or rubber degradation. Its wise to do it as the bushings will deteriorate just like a tire will after 5+ years. swaybar/tierod/etc...

Thanks. So if I want OEM, I should probably buy all 8 A-arms, right? That should account for all of the suspension-related bushings, other than the swaybar bushings, right? Or are there yet more bushings to consider?
When I wanted to have mine done on my type-r, someone had left a type-r swaybar at the dealership (never picked up) including bushings. I purchased the bar/bushings at a discount just to get the bushings.

There are a couple control arms in the rear as well.
Not including those control arms, a quick check of Majestic shows about $1500 total for all eight suspension arms.
Oh, and this is interesting - the bushings for the upper rear arms ARE listed as separate parts. $22 each, four needed. So a complete replacement of suspension arm bushings would be about $1250...
As far as doing just the one or all at once, I have no idea, sorry.

some may need to be pressed in and generally the balljoints can be replaced as well w/o buying the whole part. thought about aftermarket while your already in there. And I would do them all at once, its just like changing tires in pairs at the least. not only that but you may get in there and find other bushings have play or rotted out rubber. plus you have it all apart you may as well.

I'd even replace the swaybar bushings if I were you.

These are all of the parts relating to what I need, I think. I think the last item I listed was what you were referring to about the separate bushings, right? If that is the case, you said I need 4? 2 on each side? Did you just happen to know this from working with the suspension in the past? So I take it there are 2 arms in the front and 3 arms in the rear?

At the rear, each side has a:
Lower A-arm
Upper A-arm
Control arm
The upper A-arms at the rear, where they attach to the frame, have bushings that you can purchase separately. Since each arm attaches to the frame in two locations, each arm needs two bushings, for a total of four.
FRONT: parts 11, 12, 15 and 16

REAR: parts 12 and 13 for the lower arms, 10 and 11 for the control arms if you need those, part 36 if you just want the upper arm bushings, parts 16 and 17 if you want the entire arms.

I've replaced coilovers before, by means of temporarily removing the upper suspension arms. But mostly, my comment was based on looking at the parts diagram on Majestic's site.

Ok, so there are 2 bushings per arm since it attaches at 2 different points. But what about the third point of the wishbone? Does that third point (the part that doesn't hit the frame) need a bushing as well?
And lastly, aside from the bushings in the A-arms and the antiroll bars, are there bushings elsewhere in the suspension that I might as well replace since I'm already doing a thorough job? I'm sure that between the A-arms and the antiroll bars, it probably covers at least, most bushings. Just wondering if there are more.
Thanks.
