Somewhere i saw a post asking about activities for the national meet in case of rain. I think this would be cool even w/o rain. Let me know what you think, i can take care of organizing it if there is interest.

We set up a single elimination road race championship to be held on the Playstation Grand Turismo 2 game.
Everyone runs a stock S2000 with only race tires. looser is out, winner goes to play the next round. The final driver standing wins the prize.
I was thinking besides world fame and bragging rights, i might get Sony to sponsor us with a PS2 and Gran Turismo 2000 for the champion. We'd proboably need some people to bring their Play Stations up.

Hmmm, interesting, I saw this idea in the thread on the S2Ki forum. It could be fun. Once we publish the itinerary, you will see what times our events are taking place. Perhaps you could arrange this with the hotel for an after dinner on Saturday challenge or maybe a Sunday thing.

Could be cool...even though I have never even seen a Playstation!

I'll be announcing the itinerary shortly, like in a week or less, so you have a better idea what is planned and perhaps plan this kind of thing around that...

Although you should probably plan for it to be Gran Tourismo 3 on the PlayStation 2. Gran Tourismo 3 will probably ship in March in the US.

If I come to Asheville (long drive from Seattle ), I'll be glad to bring a PS2.
