wow, have these cars dropped in value or what? those are the same discount %dealers are giving on civics under invoice. There goes the resale values..... thank god for the market being consumer driven, perhaps now people won't gripe about trade in values being so low knowing deals like these are out there. People are getting some agressive deals, congrats.

for those with super screaming great deals, please post if you had a TRADE IN and what you got for it, and if you financed, what was your rate, and what kind of "processing/document" fee you paid, since that is pure profit margin add on for the dealer and varies greatly?

(not to mention, if you got any dealer option$)

I negotiated hard with 3 dealers on a "pure" price and even the ones who had the car on the lot for half a year, in the snow, wouldn't get below low 30k. I'm *SURE* if I let them bust me on a trade-in or had crappy credit or bought option$, they would have let me pay only 29k for the "car."

ICBW, but if you live in another state, I think the tax, licenses, and fees apply to where you'll be registering it. So, even if he bought it in California, and brought it back to Oregon, he would pay Oregon's taxes and fees.
Correct. Oregon = no sales tax, we just get jacked every paycheck. If I buy a car in cali, bring it here and register it here, I dont pay tax on it...

Model Year 05, 29,700+tax+reg. January. Had to walk out but they called on the cell phone one hour later. No trade in or financing at dealer. I found that the deal is only partly over after the price is agreed on. Watch out for the financing department. They tried a lot of tricks (extra fees, 9.9% financing, alarm nonsense, extended warranty nonsense) to increase profit. Research and a hardnosed attitude saved me a lot.

03 $30,250 4.4apr no trade, no warranty no rustproiffing, no window etching fee paid. After I had the contract signed the finace manager tried to tell me that they already windo etched it because blah blah blah. I told him I never gave him permission to work on my car. You worked on my car without my permission? I want you to replace the windows I hate that etched number it ruins the value of the original glass. This is a collectors item. He paniked and then I laughed and said I ain't paying for a $35 window etching job that they did before I looked at the car. He sighed and gave me the keys. Now someone gat $26k for a 04 but I can't find the thread. I don't know the specifics of the deal but that's some crazy $hit.

$30,250 before TTL here in the Seattle area. Purchased mid-February with no trade-in. Pretty darn good deal here in the Seattle area from what I gather. I was happy with price.
