If you do it right, heel & toe or other way of adjusting the engine rpm with the car speed and the gear you select to go into, you can shift and drive with out the clutch.
(You can practice this by moving the stick to neutral, put a slight pressure towards the gear you want and rev the engine with out tuching the clutch, you will feel when it will let you in at the optimum rpm. Now, you may want to practice this with another car).

Mike

I know how to do this I just didn't think he was serious! More like dangerous!(potentially hazardous!) All this just to say 2/10ths of a second......

Its good to know this technique if your clutch ever died!

One of the best reviews I have ever read and printed in the Audi Magazine. Amazing!

Another snip from the article:

Wow, this article brings back the feelings i had before buying my S2000. Couldn't wait to test drive one. If i didn't already own one i would be looking up Honda dealers in the phone book again after reading this

This is actually the second article I have read that claims the S2000 shifter to be the best on the planet - the other article was in the BMWCCA roundel magazine when they were testing the M5 and said everyone should learn from Honda and the S2000/

I was just curious as to how many other people here test drove the TT roadster before deciding on the S2000?

To be fair, I loved the TT Roadster. The factors that made up my mind in the end were that the TT's suspension was too soft when you pushed it hard and the difference in price.

Maybe i'm in minority but i don't like the styling of the TT roadster. The coupe on the other hand i do like quite a bit, somehow the style fits better.

I own both and just like drmark says the TT is a touring car! No way you can even compare the two. That's why there are 22,000 on my 2001 TT Coupe and 4000 miles on my s2k.

The TT is no slouch, I bought her because she was beautiful, and the s2k, well I bought her (w/Jason Saini & soloiiracer) to kick some autocross butt in Astock!
