Default AUT plate + Comptech CAI?

Just picked up an '01 Silverstone a week or so ago. Wondering about intake options - will that AUT carbon cooling plate work with a Comptech intake?

My other option is to get an el-cheapo 'Spoon type' intake snorkel from Hong Kong, but I understand that to fit that, one would need to hack apart the stock cooling plate, correct?

Yeah, but he's asking if it will fit with the comptech. If looks like it would.

No, it will not fit with both. One or the other.

The AUT cooling plate does work nicely with the K&N FIPK, though. Although if its horespower you are after, my guess would be a snorkel and a quality air filter would net more.

Thanks for the input. Still undecided on what to do, guess I'll think about it some more.

You know, it took me forever to figure out what an FIPK was! Back in the Saab world, we just call them K&Ns!
