Get the urethane....

I love the "replica" or "style" threads.....get's everyone fired up.

My opinion on all this is:

Parts that do not make the car go any faster do NOT need to be authentic. ie Mugen/J's/TopSecret bodyparts. I'd buy replica for "LOOKS" and authentic for engine or performance mods.

If your a "JDM whore" (no offence) then spend your money how you want.

Thanks!
Mines a fake, its an Amuse 'style' It fit almost perfect when I got 3 years ago. I just desided to have it molded on for the look. The fitment was excellent I only had to Dremel a very little bit to make it fit. I would do it all over again. Why spend double the money on something that's just a able to be broken. Spend $500 bucks on a 'real one' hit a curb its junk, spend $200-250 for a 'fake one' hit a curb and its junk... you get the Urethane one it will live through a few run in's with a curb but not as long as you think. I have a fiberglass one... like I said going 3 years strong,.. and its rubbed and scraped the ground tons of times and its never cracked because you bumper is made of urethane and it will flex before you lip will crack

I would be concerned about a products construction before I worried about it's constructer. Urethane is a much better material for body parts. I have no idea why Amuse don't make it out of urethane. It's not like it's cheap or anything.
