Pft.... 2 jzs ftl.

As for the picture.... It looked very similar to the photos I have seen of Bryan doing his handy work on these amazing, miraculous, wonderful "superJDMYOyoucan'tbeatmeandifyoudoIwillgiverespec tbutifnotyoucansuckmyballsmrgarrison" swaps.

I am not hating.... well.... let me rethink that. Ok. I am hating on a 50/50 hack job... but that seems to be the norm for that band of Florida hillbillies... and I don't think you made the best decision by believing what you set out to do was a good idea... especially seeing the results.

And fwiw.... hboy7777's ls1 swap is an illistration of how well thought out engineering and not doing things half assed make all the difference....

Looks like a damn clean swap so far.

That v8 swap looks amazing so far with just that one pic and his tantalizing description of 50/50 weight distribution and a stickshift that fits where it belongs.

Will be especially nice if he can get the stock dash working.

But why were you slapping the stick?
Pics of under the hood.
BTW-im new to the 2Jz swp....what motor is it?
He said he was slapping the stick to prove it was real and not just sitting there or something.

The 2JZ is the engine from the most recent model of Toyota Supra if I remember right.

Yea, that motor was a monster. It could be modded up to 1000 hp for less than $8000 I heard.

A better way to prove it was real would be to show it moving, but yeah...

50/50 has the worst rep of any shop I've ever heard of, doing the swap of a 2jz or any other motor in the s2k is a different argument then arguing about the craftsmanship of that shop.

Personally I think the F20/22 is what belongs under our hoods, I'll give props to anyone that puts something else under there and does it right for originality and the work needed to do so, but it's not my cup of tea.

1. Why an auto?
2. Why are the interiors on all the S2J swaps we see videos for always trashed?

I might be interested in an engine swap for my car because I love the idea of wads of torque in a body as sexy as the S2000.

But I'm not gonna even consider it if my interior has to look hacksawed and duct-taped with aftermarket gauges screwed down in front of a nonfunctional stock dash.

I'll consider the swap impressive and worthy if you can ever show us one where the stock dash works with the new engine and the interior looks finished. And it has a manual stick.

Not holding my breath, though.
