Yeah, what he said...

I only manage about 22-24 out of mine, but my driving is either 1 mile each way to the park and ride lot, or driving 20 miles of stop and go at 5pm to get to my night class...

Its pretty funny when driving to class more often actually gets me better gas mileage

When cold, I try not to get over 3000...when I do normal driving, I just follow the manual's shift speeds, and then of course, the occasional run to 9K

In bo-de-do driving I typically upshift at about 5K and downshift at 3K. In this range it's got plenty of thrust to deal with traffic as aggressively as I need to. Pretty much the only time the engine gets below 3K is when it's idling.

I have found that the RPMs after the shift is critical. When lolling, around I alwqays make sure the RPM doesn't drop below 2000 AFTER I change gears and am not pushing it.

This works for me. And on downhills or level roads I even use gears 1-2-4-6 if I don't want to do all that rowing.

I've found this 6 speed allows for an amazing amount of flexibility of gear changes and it is still always there when needed!!!!

Taking it easy on my daily 50/50 urban/rural drive to work I've been getting around 25 mpg.

4500-5500 for most shifts, with occasional VTEC-ing when traffic thins out or I hit the right stretch of pavement

Unless I have my lead filled right shoe, I tend to shift between 3K and 5K on the tach.....

My S2K is not a daily driver and only comes out when I am in the mood and the weather is perfect.

That being said, once the car is warm, I always shift around 7,500. If I am the first one at the light I mostly hit red line.

I usually shift right before VTech.

I keep it under 4000 when cold and shift around 4500 - 5000 when it's warmed up. I really only get a chacne to VTEC on the freeways down here in LA since the traffic SUCKS!!! even on surface streets.
