back end is scary??!!
Well, when your tires are warm, the last thing you want to do it let off the gas when going "through" a corner. If you think you are going too fast before you get into the corner and want to brake, DON'T, gas it so you throw the weight to the rear.
If you have time to brake, brake BEFORE you get into the corner, but don't brake after you are in the corner.

Take your stock S2000 in GT3 A Spec, spend a few hours with sim mode on (not the arcade mode) and believe it or not, you may find it a safe and fun way to help one understand the nuances of handling affected by acceleration and/or braking. Follow the Playstation fun with a trip to an empty parking lot with the real thing and repeat the exercise. It's hard for owners (especially those who are used to FWD) to accept the fact that accelerating through the turn in a front engine/rear wheel drive automobile promotes traction. Good luck and have fun!

its not a 'problem'. its just a factor of driving RWD cars.
best tip - go to your local autocross and learn the limits of the car event by event. for a mere 20 bucks, you'll learn quite a bit. no modification will help you learn this, only experience - and you are getting there, but you need to learn how to avoid it and control it when it does happen.

Do a wheel alignment ASAP.
You won't BELIEVE of how much difference the correct alignment makes. S2000's DO NOT come properly aligned from the factory.
I too was scared to push my car sometimes. After the alignment I can throw it into a corner at much higher speeds
and just pull through it with no drama. The rear STILL slides around, but it's very predictable, very progressive
and very easy to correct.

You want pointers? I highly suggest that you take a good driving class at your local race track to learn the proper way to drive a high performance car.
