The S2K has been in use for the one week per month that I spent in Holland for work. Even after hree weeks standing stil, it always starts in one try. In the week that I'm driving I regularly covered 1000 miles, amd more when I had to go to Switserland.

I love the German autobahn, but since the AP2 is geared the same as the AP1, it tops out at only 150MPH. And then, at that speed, the high speed train (which at times runs parallel to the autobahn) whisks by as if you are standing still.....

I have a set of Rick's gauges, and boy does the oil get hot at high speeds. When the temperature approached 270F (132C) I backed off. Water temperature staid normal.

I guess nobody is interested at top speed runs, and running oil hot. So here is another image of the Spyker.

The car has been in cargo transport almost two months, so the winter tires/wheels are still on the car. The "summer" wheels were in the car. We took the tires off, otherwise they would not fit in the car. The rears were worn and the fronts were old. Time for a new set of summer tires.

Got the S2000 out of the garage. Tried to get an inspection sticker this morning, but the computer was down. Cannot drive until I have the sticker

It is very rare to find US license plates in Europe. To add a little to it I ordered the custom plate CD S2K. In Europe, all diplomats drive cars where the license plate starts with "CD". Only they have put that on a local plate.

The CD on my NY plate confused many a cop. Traffic stops and borders alike, they just waved me through. Never got a ticket for speeding. Only the special custom patrols on the highway would stop me on occasion to check up why I do not have a local CD plate

I'm road legal again. Got my inspection sticker yesterday without problem. I guess that this is the last post in this thread....
