the worst is how long i spent doing all the home work trying to find one in great shape just to have some knob rear end me. another funnny fact is that i was just tapped in the same spot (right side couple inches above my exhaust tip) and am still in the middle of getting the insurance money for that. now the whole bumper and exhuast toast

yep happened to me about 2 weeks after owning the car, and that was in late july. still got 1 more week before my wait is up and it can get into the shop. My 06 civic was rear ended 1.5 weeks after getting it, and basically the same story with my S. sucks but hey, it is what it is

i just got rear-ended a week ago myself. minor damage as it happened at maybe 5-10mph. i was at a red stop light, the line was long (i was maybe ten cars back), and there were a bunch of cars behind me too. the light turns green and this douche bag in a white 95 ford ranger hits me. i'm like WTF? i had my brakes on and everything, and it was about 1pm.

how come bad things happen to good cars?

I was Tboned about a year and a half ago when a lady didn't yield at a stop sign. I was turning left in front of her and she pulled out anyway.

Lucky for me, her insurance was easy to deal with and the bodyshop was one that we do printing work for so they got me in right away. I was hit on a Thursday, got the car in the shop Monday and got it back that Friday.

Worst part about it all was that I was stuck in a Ford Taurus rental car
