Bad Engine Break in
I'm thinking that the majority of this forum bought thier car used and that most of these cars had more than 10k recorded.
It would be 100 to 1 that any of these owners actually had a realistic insight as to how the car was driven before they took ownership.
The relativley few complaints that appear on this board speaks to the excellent build quality of the S2000 when you take iinto consideration that all owners are probably going to drive this car a little differently than the average standard coupe or convertible.
If the car is running well at purchase time ,no reason to suspect any upcoming problems.
It's important to hold this posisition if your intent is to fully enjoy this car.

Slow down there, the factory warrenty on the 2006 was 3yr/36,000 miles. Where'd you get this 5 yr stuff? Did you buy the extended warrenty? Or am I missing something?

You are missing something. The "bumper to bumper" warranty is 3/36K... the powertrain warranty is 5 years or 50K miles.
