funny, a few years back when i had a bike, my buddies would fill up at shell (i'm more of a chevron guy) after i decided to do it, my bike felt weird as well. I rode it to empty it out and filled up with chevron and no problems. Should have gotten a refund of 8 bucks haha.

and they issued a 28.14$ refund for the gas purchased

and also they said if i had any charges from honda for the checkup/etc or future problems resulting from the bad gas mixture they would refund me those costs as well.
Did they require any proof that you purchased your gas there...receipt, debt card/credit card statement, etc? After reading your post, from now on I'm always going to ask for a receipt. Nothing like having POSITIVE proof of purchase!

Glad your car's tank got 'over it'.
$3.19 would be nice I'm paying $3.61 to $3.75 here in sunny California. By the way we're only 12 miles from a major refinery.
Wife got home from Europe yesterday and was paying $7.50 per gallon there.

I got Shell 93 octane today; $2.81/gal. You're paying about 10% more, and we're almost neighbors. That's crazy!

Very nice that they gave you the refund. I wish there was a sure way of getting good gas. Bad gas can be veryyyy clostly.
