Default Bad throttle position sensor

Hi All,
I posted a few months ago about my 00 Berlina Black cutting out at cruise and light accel. Not actually stalling, but bucking pretty bad. After several trips to a few dealers, they finally figured out that it was a bad throttle position sensor, and replaced the throttle body, which includes the TPS. Prior to that, they checked for debris in the fuel system, replaced the plugs, coils and injectors, but the problem kept recurring.
This started around 50k miles. So, if you have similar problems, tell them to check the TPS.

NJTom2000,
I posted on your thread too. Apparently, American Honda is aware of the problem, but only recently. The bad TPS can take months and months before it sends a signal to the computer, so for me it meant lots of frustration and many trips back and forth to various dealers. They should really do a service bulletin on this.

Yeah, that is something for me to look into also. Mine does the bucking thing too occasionally.
