Ok - kewl...I got a PM from a coordinator of another Stook Club who is interested in having more areas "formalize" their clubs and then join into a national club - I used to help coordinate a Jeeper club in Bel Air, MD so I would be willing to look into getting this off the ground!

F20C,

Let me know when you get down this way or when your yellow comes and we'll arrange a get together. Maybe we can have a little mini-meet.

Rick & F20C- my future in-laws are right between you two near Hanover (well, that's the closest town I can think of) Looking forward to catching up with you two and the rest of the "new club" this summer!

Hanover huh? That's not too far from me, bout 45 minutes. Hey Rick, if you want to meet up, I'll get the yellow one in April so that would be great. You wouldn't happen to know of anyone in the area that would like to take the red one off my hands, would ya? Hope to see you guys soon.

Ok, we're going to have to have a pre or post-Asheville meet.

Let's look at dates and meeting places.

Why don't we have the first meeting of our "club" on Saturday, April 7? That way we can recruit some more owners for the trip to Asheville .

If there's enough interest, I'll try to think about a meeting place and some courses to drive. There's a lot of beautiful country north of Baltimore along the Falls Road and York Road corridors north of Hunt Valley, and many incredible twisties to drive. We should probably meet in the morning, say around 11AM, drive for a few hours, stop for a group lunch, and maybe drive for another hour or two, with stops for photos and the like.

Any interest?

Sounds GGGGGGGGGGreat!

And I would certainly consider working with Rick to help coordinate any get-togethers!

It always seems that the people from this tri-state area are the most vocal about their cars!

Anyways, I'm down.

I'm in.

A quick suggestion - if this is turning into a GTG notice, a cross post in the events forum might be helpful. Look forward to our first "official" meeting.

Regards,

Phil
