Is this battery maintainer safe to use for my battery?
I bought this battery maintainer to maintain charge on my s2k throughout the winter:
https://www.amazon.com/Schumacher-SE.../dp/B0009IBJAS
In my car I have an Odyssey PC925 (https://www.amazon.com/Odyssey-PC925.../dp/B0002ILK72)
In the battery maintainer manual it says not to use on dry cell batteries, which this Odyssey battery is. It then says it's safe to use on an AGM-type battery, which this battery also is.. So, does anyone know if it's okay to use or not? I wrote to the seller and zero response

The battery is an AGM battery as you note not a dry cell battery. Your flashlight probably used dry cells and they are not rechargeable.
This battery is marginal for starting to begin with so maintaining it over the winter is good practice. AGM batteries require a different charging protocol than lead acid batteries but at low current this should be fine.

I run AGM (absorbent glass mat) batteries on my boats. They're not wet lead-acid batteries so I guess they're "dry." I us a 800ma Battery Tender (brand) trickle charger on the boat in season and on the Honda in the winter.
