Oh and I forgot to mention, silversurfer got his 1-2 grind repaired at Los Gatos Honda. They did a great job as well. He was perfectly happy with their service. He was the person who recommended them to me. They haven't seen too many S2K's but they have the proper "respect" for the cars.

The service manager is Chuck. My service consultant was Dawn and she was just great as can be.

Los Gatos Honda will do the 1-2 Grind replacement. It takes about a day and a half. You will probably have to ask for a loaner. If you ask for Sue or Chuck they will take good care of you. They are very interested in the S2K and what problems we have been having. Phone # 395-6100....

pellisS2k,
When did you purchase your car? I tried Stevens Creek also, but they wanted 10K over and would not negotiate at all.
I ended up buying the car from AutoWest Honda in Fremont. This all happened within the first two weeks after the car came out. Maybe things are better now!!.
Did anybody else buy from AutoWest?

Concord Honda did my seatbelt recall work. They forgot to plug back in the hazard light control and I lost turn signals.

I've had service done on my Civic at Andersen Honda and Fremont Honda. Fremont Honda was slow, but the work was completed right the first time. Andersen = 4 stars.

Another satisfied Andersen service customer here. Although I haven't gotten the grind fixed yet.

Got my tranny, horn and rear window replaced at Dublin Honda. The entire job was about 4 days, and I had no problems whatsoever.

I think the manager I talked to was Preston.

Overall, I am very happy with my service there.

Bought from Steven's Creek on Oct 6. Ironically, I did try Autowest Honda, but they wouldnt do any lower that $39000.
