Default Bayson R Lip Gap

Can anyone help me remove this lip gap?
I've seen cases where the ends didn't line up and caused a weird corner gap, however, mine lines up pretty perfectly.
Unfortunately despite both ends lining up, I have a gap in the two front corners. This gap can be removed by pushing in/up towards the bumper.
I tried using a hairdryer to heat it up and hopefully bend it to the shape of the bumper but I don't think that did much if anything.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening or how to fix it?

I have this lip on my spare ap1 bumper you have to re drill the stands them give you and rivet them closer

Example
[ Metal Tab]
[ () ] This is the part where you need to revit it in
[ () () ] You can drill another hole to move the lip closer or change the direction one way or another

The default drill outs give that gap fitment; if you make new ones or re drill it will fix the issue
Also you can apply double sided tape to the inside lip and let it rest on the bumper with someone on it for pressure

Mine did not have this problem at all. In fact it was super tight to get it lined up at the ends. Did you use the bumper's dimple location for the screws to mount the lip?
Some hairdryer is really not strong enough, need a heat gun but be careful. If your concern, I would remove it, heat the area and slightly push it back, while its cooling rub lightly with a damp cloth. This is how I fixed my bumper cover that creased near the front headlight. This thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-bo...esore-1190521/

Do you have any pictures of this? I'm not sure I'm following unfortunately.
I did apply double sided tape to the bottom of the lip, however, the bottom of the lip isn't even touching the bumper.

Yes, used the pre-dimpled locations.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't there one hole already there for the bottom screw and then one pre-dimpled spot for the top screw?

The lip do not touch the bottom of the bumper there should be black press-on clips that hold them in place in OEM hole locations. If you taped it, could be the reason the top lip area is being pushed forward on the top area.

Exactly, I put double sided tape on the bottom before installing it (because all the research said to do it), however, after installing it, I realized that none of the tape I installed actually ever made contact to the bumper. To get the bottom of the lip secured, I used the 3 push-clips that came with the lip. So the gap is occurring after using _only_ the provided hardware.

No, I mean applydouble stick tape where the gap is. Apply tape right beneath the black lip trim.
