RG-R are the way to go.

You save on weight, improve on looks, and get to keep the stock S02 tyres, which apparently are the best out there for our car.

Jesus..the RG-R looks awesome! I used to like LM better, but now I love the RG-R, especially the black chrome color. Very unique! I would like to know how much LM and RG-R weigh?

LM's don't have enough offset, they'll "fit" but you ain't going to be happy!

RT,

I'm curious as to why you would say that? The sizes I listed are approved fitments for the S2k from BBS of America. The only size that may be a little "aggressive" is the 18x9.5, BBS states that it might require rolling the rear fender.

As far as the actual weights of these wheels, I will get that infomation and post it here. IF anyone is interested, the offsets are:

17x7.5 48mm

17x8.5 55mm

18x8 50mm

18x9.5 55mm[/list]
I will be glad to answer any questions on the BBS wheels if you have any. I am a full, authorized distributor and have been selling BBS wheels since 1984. If I can't answer your question, I'll find out for you.

Rob

I found some interesting info on the LM and RG-R.

I believe this is for the 17" wheel but the site was in Japanese...

----------7J+42------------8J+40
LM----8.9KG(19.62lbs)--9.3KG(20.50)
RG-R--7.5KG(16.5lbs)---7.7KG(16.97lbs)

The RG-Rs are light and the look cool. I asked Giampiero for pricing and sizes so I'll keep you posted.

Sorry, I meant the Honda by BBS 6 spoke forged wheels. RG-R only come in 17 and 18 inches I believe.

I had asked a dealer contact to look into getting some on a trip to Japan. He was not helpful, only commented that the cost to purchase them was over $2000 before shipping. I do not see anyone willing (or able) to make it worth their efforts to bring them to the US. Do any show up on JDM cars in the UK?

I talked to a friend of mine at a local wheel shop and he told me that we can get the BBS RK with a lower offset then a good machine shop can work the offset on the wheel to match the S2000. They have done this lots of times with european cars with rare offsets.
