Been an S2K owner for 1 year and 3 days. . . Here's what I've learned.
Well, my S2000 turned 1 on Saturday (Happy Birthday!!!) and I thought this would be an appropriate time to post what I've learned in a year. . .
1. S2K owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met. . . I've enjoyed the meets I attended (especially NJ Tom's trip to the shore) and regretted the ones I missed (especially Rick's fall colors). . .
2. Nearly 3 years after its introduction to the U.S. market, the S2000 is one of the most head turning roadsters on the market. . .
3. The S2000 is definitely friendly enough to use as a daily driver (something I found out for a few weeks back in September), but I'm grad I still have my Si for everyday (read: rainy, snowy, heavy traffic) use
4. Even with 4,800 miles on the odometer, my PLASTIC back window (with the help of Plexus & a towel in the well) is still as clear as day one of ownership. . .
5. S02's are meant for WARM weather and DRY roads. . . Period.
6. Whereas EVERY color makes the S2K look great, Silverstone makes it look EXCELLENT!!!
7. The "gimicky" push-button starter and "video game" dash board, have NEVER seemed like gimicks and ARE NOT out of place, and definitely work quite well. . .
8. For those of us that had to wait for months (in my case almost a year) for an S2000, the wait was DEFINITELY worth it!!!
9. 9000 RPMs, and a race-car styled suspension/handling package NEVER get old!!!!
As a side note: One of the first cars I bought/raced in GT2 was an S2000. . . I've been playing GT3 for months and just raced my first S2000 (Spoon's Race Car). . . The morale: Why use a video game, when you can drive the REAL thing

I know my s2k was actually built in August of 2000. . . However, delivery was taken on December 8, 2000. . .
So technically, by car was born in August, but my anniversary is December 8, 2000. . .
Either way, I love this car. . .
