Hi. Honda makes a black called "Nighthawk Black Pearl." It is distinct because it has dark blue sparkles in it. Is there anything distinct about "Berlina Black?" How is it different from other Honda black colors?

 

It happens to have flakes of a special NASA aero compound, making it the fastest paint color of any honda, let alone the S

 

These are the only two cars allowed to be painted Berlina

 

IMO Berlina Black isn't a pearl.
Overhere Berlina and Ascari Red are the only 2 non pearl colors.
(and they are the cheapest)

 

Yes and Berlina Black is fancy and flashy, but not too flashy and loud to grab the attention of police like NFR and Rio Yellow Pearl are...thats unless the car's LOUD

 

Berlina isn't a pearl. That's correct.

 

No GPW? That's not a pearl either IIRC and one of my personal favorite S2k colors

I double checked on Honda.nl
I don't know if it was available before but it isn't now.

One other thing I noticed, "we" have Metallic and Pearls with Bermuda Blue and New Indy Yellow being the only two Pearls

Anyway..
Berlina is the Best color for the S2000

 

NFR wet sanded,and coated with BASF's "Diamond dust" clear lacker.!!!
