Default Best $10.00 Mod

I was tinkering around today and installed a set of interior lights in the footwell. This is something that has always bugged me so I thought that I would do something about it.

I think that all told it cost me $7.49 for two interior lights and a couple of wire taps. I just mounted them to the air conditioning vents that are in the footwells.

Much nicer now! The butt dyno says that I seem to pull stronger from 3000 to 6000 RPM.

It also makes it easier to see my feet when I am driving. Gotta make sure that they are on the right pedals.

I am going to have to find my digital camera. I recently moved and that is one thing that I haven't seen in about six weeks. Will try to figure something out.

ummm what's the point of having lit up foot wells?? If you're trying to find the petals, wouldn't you rather just get Indiglow foot petals?? Oh well, maybe they're too ricey (how I hate that term). Somebody explain to me why indiglow petals would be called ricey, and lit up foot wells are not??

heheh sorry, didn't mean any offence, just got sick of hearing the word "Ricey".

Hey I lit up my footwells too! I installed two neon red lights that just glow whenever I want them too. I have a little switch right next to the air controls. It looks really classy in an otherwise very dark interior. I have a red interior to begin with so I think it compliments it well.

I saw some small neon lights when I was at the auto parts store. Wasn't quite sure what to make of them.
