Without dropping the clutch, I once did a roll start on a 1/4 mile track. I got 0-60 of 6.0 and 1/4 mile of 14.6x

No this was at great lakes dragaway. I wanted to see how well the car would do without dropping the clutch. It was cold that day, which helps. My 0-60 was 6.1 not 6.0... sorry, misprint.

They have 0-60 times at a dragstrip? Never heard of that. Do they have radar or something? If they are extrapolating the 0-60 from a timeslip as some people do that is definitely NOT accurate. I was just wondering how the track gets the time.

60ft is a whole different thing than 0-60. Dragstrips only measure distance and time. Even the trap speed is calculated from the time between two lights at the end of the strip. That's why I was wondering how he was getting 0-60 times from a dragstrip.

Isnt that a big oxymoron? how do you have your best 0-60 time and not drive the car your best?
