It's probably just a resistor that you wire in-line with the TA sensor (Atmospheric Temperature)...

This makes the car think it's a lot colder outside than it really is, which causes it to dump more fuel through the injectors.

On OBD-II cars, I forsee that this will easily trigger a CEL.

What I find even funnier that the 25hp gain is how many people on this board have bought this thing and will never admit it ?
