Best dealer in So. Cal.?
Da Hapa,
No it wasn't me. But I do work near Jamboree and the 5.
I thought I knew all of the S2000's in Coto. I've never seen the red. There is another silver/black in Coto.
We've had some pretty good meets over the past year and a half. The last one was just a couple of weeks ago in Irvine with 12 cars. Take a look at Meets and Events. There should be a lot of opportunities to get together with other S2K's.
Even though Family is really convenient, I've had work done by Weseloh in San Juan and had really good luck. Others on the board have had good experiences there also. I hope Family turns out to be a good place, though. Can't beat the location!

rev29k-
Family's service dept. has been very good. They've bent over backwards to make my fiance and I happy and even follow up, follow up phone calls (catch that trickery... two calls) to make sure that we are satisfied.
I have also heard good things about Weseloh. I have a buddy with a 99 prelude and he only takes the car there. apparently the service guys are gearheads and they even have some type of mod. shop on the premises.
give family's service dept. a try. ask for either israel or bob and tell them that christian asis sent you.

I just got mine at Gardena Honda for MSRP. If I tried to deal I probably could've gotten it for less, but I was so surprised to get it at MSRP I just said, "duh... ok".
I went to the Honda website and there is an online quote thingy which I filled out... it tells you what dealers have what cars in your area, even gives VIN #s. You just check the cars you want and the dealer gets back to you with an email quote (I got 4 local offers in two days). There were actually several in my color choice in the area, and most dealers came back at over MSRP, but Gardena Honda offered 0 markup right off the bat. I went in (without confirming or talking to anyone), and there was my silver/black s2k in the showroom, with a $10k markup on the sticker. I showed my email quote, talked to the sales guy, went home to sleep on it, and came back the next day and drove off with the car at MSRP, no hassles. All was not squeeky clean though... They didn't try to push any extras on me, but when I said I wanted the alarm, they tried to pawn it off to me at a thousand bucks! Needless to say, I didn't pay that for it.
Anyway... they now have a black/black on the showroom floor with no sticker markup. Why was the silver marked up $10k? Does it matter?

I will bro. It looks nice though. I just installed my clear side markers with the xenon bulbs and the front grill. They both look nice but the side marker fit isn't as great though. I'll post pics asap.
